GORE-TEX Medical Products, made of expanded polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), are inert, preventing significant inflammatory responses, and have a controlled microporous structure to regulate the amount of tissue ingrowth into the implant.

Gore provides such products as bioabsorbable devices, synthetic vascular grafts, interventional devices, endovascular stent-grafts, unique materials for hernia repair, and sutures for use in vascular, cardiac and general surgery procedures.
